My fave run/rapid was my first trip down the Moisie River...the remoteness of the river and the fact that is was my 1st kayak trip down a river made it so outstanding!

Did You Know?

The Kicking Horse River got it's name because of James Hector. Hector's resume is pretty impressive: from surveyor to surgeon, he is important to us because he discovered the important Kicking Horse Pass, and unintentionally gave the Kicking Horse River it’s name when  he was kicked off his horse and left for dead.
